If you get to the dentist soon enough, teeth that have been dislodged may be put back in place and saved. If you have a toothache, the dentist will be able to determine the cause of the toothache and if it is an infection, the dentist can perform a root canal treatment or another treatment to remove the infection and save the tooth. For broken or chipped teeth, a crown, filling, or dental bonding can be used to repair the tooth and save it from further damage.
